Yuval was born on: 10/4/1975 in Haifa to Ahouva and Yosef after the Cipor war. Yuval grew and learned in Rehovot. Yuval learned in the elementary school "Bechor Levi" and finished his middle school and his high school learning at "De Shalit". Yuval had a high level of ability in the real professions, especially mathematics. In addition, he showed great interest in history. Yuval was a very active child and was loved by his friends. He as very modest and always hid a smile on his face. Two of Yuval's favorite hobbies were building Legos and playing sports: table tennis and basket-ball. In both of these sports Yuval belonged to Maccabi Rehovot. After graduating from high school, at the beginning of December 1993, Yuval enlisted in the Paratroopers Brigade and began his basic training in combat, although he broke his leg at the beginning of his basic training, insisting that he complete the demanding and difficult course. He was sent to an officers' course and at the end was a platoon commander in the 101st battalion of the Paratroopers Brigade. In the winter of 1996 Yuval started his service in the regular army. Yuval was considered a brilliant officer with a high command capability. In his periodic opinion, he was described by his commanders as a serious, professional and "very high-quality officer." Yuval brought his department to great achievements. With great initiative, involvement and investment, he rehabilitated and promoted his department and contributed greatly to the recovery of the entire company, which was in difficulties. Yuval, who was involved and sensitive, was loved and admired by his subordinates. Later Yuval was stationed as a guide for infantry cadets at Training Base 1 for a period of six months, at the end of which he was supposed to return to Battalion
101 as a lieutenant colonel until the next liberation
On the 30/5/1997 Yuval fell in battle while he led his cadets to operational activity. The force under his command operated in the central sector of the security zone in southern Lebanon. Yuval was hit by a mortar shell fired by the terrorists. He was twenty-two years old when he fell. Yuval was laid to rest in the military section of the cemetery in Rehovot. Survived by his parents, sister Noga and brother Amichai. On his gravestone, his soldiers' farewell words were engraved in the eulogy: "We followed you with fire and water.

Noam Ronen

Noam was born on the 21.10.1972 in Ramat Gan and died on the 27.4.1993. he was the third
out of the four children of Nitza and Moshe. Noam was a student in our school.
His father Moshe died in a car accident when Noam was only 7 years old.
In his childhood and teen years he was in the "Tzofim".
He was a friendly boy and he smiled a lot and he was loved and popular.
Already in his childhood he was a very serious and thorough guy.
He always took the responsibility, and everything he did, he wished to do perfectly.
At the end of November 1990, Noam was drafted into the IDF, and completed the tests at the
recruitment center with very high data, with a few medical restrictions and at the end of
basic training he was assigned to the maintenance corps.
After a period of time, Noam was sent to a basic officers' course, to be completed by the IDF,
and was sent to serve as a maintenance officer at the base of the Signal Corps.
According to his commanders, Noam was an excellent officer.
"Motivated, who has invested above and beyond what his job demanded."
Always with extreme devotion and exemplary responsibility.
Noam received an excellent grade. His subordinates noted that Noam was an excellent
professional commander, but especially in terms of his personal relations with the
soldiers he commanded.
One of his subordinates said: "Noam was a man who loved to admire him for his actions …"

The officers' opinion read: "A young officer performs his duties with enthusiasm,
professionalism … punctual and dedicated … honest and reliable …"

 Omer El Kabezt

Omer was born on 13.1.1977 and died on 28.2.1999 when he was only 22 years old. In November 1996 he joined the Golani patrol. After 11 months of service he had to leave the patrol due to an injury in his legs during his service.

Omer was killed along with his commander. Omer left his mother Haya, his father Avi, his brother Roie and his sister Shira.

Omer loved sports and had a lot of friends. At School we have a library and a gym named after him.

This is a translated part of a letter his dad wrote 5 years after his fall:” it has been 5 years since that horrible moment and I’m still in pain. The pain of missing you, those moments we were together. And that pain is not leaving, it never leaves, not even for an hour.”

This is a translated part of a letter that his mother wrote about his childhood:” at the age of 1 year and 9 months you went to kinder garden and felt great. No crying, no fussing around at the ‘goodbye’ part, you would just wave to me and I would feel calm while going to work”.

And now after almost 19 years after his fall we have a sports ceremony every year (because he loved sports) and his parents come.

We are very honored that a student that learned in our school sacrificed his life for the safety of Israel.

Rest in peace Omer

 
Udi Zamir

Udi was born on the 29/3/1968 to Masha and Maiir in Rehovot.

At age 13 Udi's dad died who was a lieutenant colonel in the armored corps. After Udi finished his learning in the elementary school "Bechor Levi" he went to learn at the middle school "De Shalit" and finished his high school learning. Udi was a boy of nature, a boy of flowers and love. He loved the country and her beauty, he loved to travel in the country. Udi liked the sea and diving in it. Udi was loved by his friends because his character and who he was. Udi went to the army in the middle of November 1987 and after basic training he followed his father and was assigned to the Armored Corps as a tank driver. He stood out at a high professional level and his commander chose him to be his own tank driver. His commanders noted that he was good-hearted and was willing to help anyone, especially his friends. He was always ready to carry out difficult tasks without complaint.

Udi was called up for reserve duty in December 1992, during which he fell in a battle in the Sajaiya neighborhood of Gaza on 7/12/1992. An IDF patrol force, in which Udi participated, was shot by a terrorist unit from a moving vehicle, and Udi was killed. He was laid to rest in the military cemetery in Rehovot, the city he was born in, not far from his father's grave. Survived by a mother, and a sister – Orly.

Chen Verber

Chen Verber was born on October 2nd, 1995 at Moshav Galia next to Rehovot, to Vered and Tzahi Verber. He was the brother of Nofar, Lachan, Oren, Maya and Noam Verber. He was an excellent student. He studied Math, Chemistry and Computer Sciences. He also represented Rehovot in the National Math Olympics. Chen was also very socially active, in high school he leaded a project called "A City Without Violence". Once in Purim (a Holiday he really liked) he made a costume for his whole class! He was also a counselor in the Israeli Scouts (the Tzofim). On February 4th, 2015 he joined the Army, and started his mandatory military service, he served in the Intelligence Corps Unit.  During his service he enjoyed helping his friends and doing every task in the best possible way. In his free time he developed four computer apps.

Although he suffered from asthma, he had a very active life. He loved to hike, he took part in running races and he was a green belt at Judo.

Chen passed away during his military service on May 11, 2016. He was 20 years old. He is buried at the Military Cemetery in Rehovot.

One of his friends wrote about him: “There are people who enter our lives and make our soul dance. They bring us to a new understanding with an intelligent whisper. There are people that make the sky a prettier thing to look at. They stay in our lives and leave their imprint on our hearts.”

Chen’s mother opened a Facebook page in his memory where his friends and family can post photos and memories..
